The history of MKS goes back all the way to 1989 when the first electric guitar was made as a hobby, a big reason for this was unavailability of options in left handed guitar market. This unfortunately has not changed enough till this date although some brands are more open to make left handed guitars.

For some time only classical left handed guitars were made but this changed in time and left handed guitars were made exclusively.

In  2000's MKS was a music store which was terminated due to a relocation in Spain. Now MKS concentrates to serve left and right handed guitarists with our own MKS branded models alongside custom made guitars according to customer's specs.

Due to a development in CNC machines, there's very little reason to charge left handed guitarists more and therefore all the MKS models are priced equally regardless of orientation.
